Each lactose-free caplet contains 2 milligrams of the anti-diarrhea medication loperamide hydrochloride, and 125 milligrams of the anti-gas medication simethicone. To use, adults & children 12+ take 2 caplets initially followed by one caplet after each loose bowel movement. Do not take more than 4 caplets in 24 hours. Take only on an empty stomach (1 hour before or 2 hours after a meal) with a full (250 mL) glass of water. Drink plenty of clear fluids to help prevent dehydration caused by diarrhea.
